What's
New at the Meta Institute?

As many of you may already know there
are lots of new and exciting things happening at The Meta Institute.
First and foremost, in the last several weeks, we have taken on
the very exciting endeavor of becoming a Licensed, Private Career
School in the State of Minnesota. Although this process is lengthy
and time consuming, it has been a wonderful opportunity for us
to reevaluate what we do and how we do it. We have had to look
at policies and procedures and really formalize, and standardize
ourselves even more. We took a honest look at how this would affect
our students, clients, us and the fields that we represent. For
us it was critical to make sure that in complying with state guidelines
we preserved the essence of The Meta Institute and continued to
be true to our mission, “Assisting people in recognizing their
resources in order to maximize opportunities for growth & success
in any area of their life.”
It was also important
that we preserved another of our highest values in what we do:
To provide our students with the utmost quality of teaching
and positive experience in our courses. For us that means teaching
our students the value and power of the tools we teach them,
so that they may always use them skillfully with care, respect,
ethics, honesty & humility. We strive to provide our students
with a unique and personal experience, where our students can
approach us, ask questions, & share ideas; while always assuming
that the student has many valuable contributions to bring to
the teaching/learning experience.
We take great pride
in what we do and how we do it and we know the quality of what
we offer. Growth for us as a business is not only represented
by size and numbers, but more importantly in meeting and exceeding
the needs and expectations of our students. These values have
always been ours and no license in the world can provide or
assure them. So, for those of you who may be wondering how much
is The Meta Institute going to change? Rest assured, we are
always changing and the things that really matter will still
be here!
The second new and
interesting event at The Meta Institute is that our physical
space will be expanding. Due to some of the State requirements,
we are adding additional office and training space in early
2002. Aside from the inconveniences of construction, we realize
that this added space will be beneficial all around. Our hope
is to have this construction go smoothly so that there are no
disruptions in our schedules. We’ll keep you posted!
Last, but not least,
January brings the start of our new Therapeutic Coaching® Certification
Program. This program is something that has been under construction
for a long time. We are bringing together over 40 years of combined
clinical, managerial, corporate consulting, & training experience
to provide our students with a highly comprehensive program
that combines the very best of therapy & coaching fields. This
program will provide an excellent tool box for anyone that wants
to work with Human change, transformation, motivation and guidance,
whether its on the physical, mental, emotional or spiritual
level.
As the end of this
year approaches, we would like to thank our friends, family,
colleagues, students and clients for being part of our wonderful
journey and for allowing us to be a part of yours. Peace to
